- The products or services most frequently procured by HRSA, by NAICS. This Special Notice is a public notice regarding an upcoming pre-solicitation conference. This event, also known as the Small Business Forum, is by invitation only, and reserved for small business, specifically Small Disadvantaged, HubZone, Woman-Owned, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Vendors who are invited shall meet with HRSA program managers and assigned contracting professionals to discuss the capabilities of their small business. All interested parties are encouraged to provide all requested information to maximize their chances of selection. The Health Resources and Services Administration announce the upcoming Small Business Forum scheduled for May 15, 2013. The event allows program officials to identify small businesses capable of performing requirements to be solicited within the current fiscal year. ABOUT HRSA The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary Federal agency for improving access to health care services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable. Comprising six bureaus and 10 offices, HRSA provides leadership and financial support to health care providers in every state and U.S. territory. HRSA grantees provide health care to uninsured people, people living with HIV/AIDS, and pregnant women, mothers and children. They train health professionals and improve systems of care in rural communities. HRSA oversees organ, bone marrow and cord blood donation. It compensates individuals harmed by vaccination, and maintains databases that protect against health care malpractice, waste, fraud and abuse. HRSA CONTRACTING The budget for HRSA in Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 is $8.4B; the majority is awarded in the form of grants. Contracting opportunities account for $220M of HRSA's FY13 budget. This Special Notice is restricted to small businesses interested in HRSA's contracting opportunities only. For a list of HRSA's most frequent procurement types by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), please find attached: HRSA top 25 by NAICS. VENDOR RESPONSES Vendors requesting consideration shall provide the following: •· Specific NAICS codes where the vendor has expertise and seeks consideration. •· Past performance within the last three years in the NAICS codes where the firm seeks contracting opportunities. All relevant past performance (Federal or non-Federal contracts) shall be considered. •· A one-page capability statement. The capability statement should include, at a minimum: the company's name and address; the company's NAICS codes and their size status; a brief description of the company's expertise; the General Service Administration's Federal Supply Schedule, including the contract number and date of expiration; the name of all current contracts; the firm's socioeconomic status, and points of contact by e-mail and telephone. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this Special Notice by Noon, May 8, 2013. Firms invited to attend shall be notified by Noon, May 10.
