- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to procure, on a Firm Fixed Price basis, an Ultra-Fast Digital Video Camera. This procurement is a full and open competition with HUBZone price evaluation preference. This procurement is for a commercial item and will be conducted in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5. The Ultra-Fast Digital Video Camera, with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels horizontal by 250 pixels vertical at 1 million FPS, will be used at the Ordnance Test & Evaluation Division (OT&E). This ultra high speed video camera will capture ultra high speed digital video for use in perform engineering analysis and studies. This will allow NAWCWD and its customers to analyze warhead fragmentation and velocity of detonation among other things. OT&E requires an ultra-high speed camera that meets the specifications and is compatible with Window XP and later and is able to mount Nikon lenses. Specific information to include detailed specifications shall be included in Solicitation N68936-13-T-0135 to be issued and posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 20 May 2013, to close 30 days after the Request for Quotation issue date. Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination China Lake, CA. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. All responses shall be submitted in writing to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Code 254130D, Attn: Jessica Rodriguez, 429 E. Bowen Road Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108.
