- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested for the required service and no written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation number W911S7-13-T-0035 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58 - 18 May 2012. This Request for Quote is set-aside for Small Business under NAICS 811310 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000. The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract on or about 16 May 2013. The Government intends to award without discussions, however, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions should the Government determine that they are necessary. The 169th Engineer Battalion at the Naval Diving & Salvage Training Center NSA Pensacola, Florida requires the following service: The overhaul for two (2) Army High Pressure Air Compressors (HPAC's) #13 and #14 which are a part of a Navy Certified Diving System. These compressors are used to manufacture diver quality air. The specifications for this requirement is fully explained in the attached quote mark Scope of Work quote mark, due to the nature of this obligation the contractor needs to be familiar with requirements listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). NOTE: To perspective vendors this obligation requires person(s) to be MAKO certified and Navy Diving Systems.
