- Solicitation Documents: This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to the evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will be available to download from this website on about May 1, 2013. Description: Perform precommercial thinning and fuel reduction on the Grindstone Ranger District, Mendocino National Forest with options for additional units should funds materialize. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: Grindstone Ranger District, legal description of Township 23 North, Range 9 West, Sections 11-15, 22 & 23 within the Mendocino National Forest. Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Reqistration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
