- Description
- The NIEHS, EDMP, Comparative Medicine Branch (CMB) has a requirement to extend the Animal Resources Section (ARS) for the centralized ordering of rodents. The ARS maintains procurement mechanisms with a broad range of commercial contractors for laboratory animals and animal services to support the research requirements of investigators within the NIEHS Intramural Research Program. Currently, HHSN273200800006I-9I are held by 4 incumbents. The IDIQ task order was awarded on June 16, 2008 and the total contract value negotiated was $22,971.972.00. The period of performance is June 16, 2008 - June 15, 2013. Under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, a three (3) month modification was executed to extend the task order from June 16, 2013 - September 15, 2013. This three month extension to the task order will enable the CMB to continue to provide vital services in support of the EDMP.
