- THIS IS A SUBCONTRACT OPPORTUNITY Scope of Project: Troubleshoot the notification system throughout buildings 2 and 18. Measure the sound level provided by the existing horns in comparison to NFPA required volumes. If unable to adjust sound levels, supply labor and materials to reprogram, rewire, amplify, or replace audible devices so that the sound level meets or exceeds NFPA required volumes. Replace the battery backup at the fire alarm control panel location in Building 2. Test the fire alarm devices and modules related to the elevator recall function in Building 2. Re-install missing devices and re-program if necessary. Inspect and clear the trouble status and make any necessary repairs to return the fire alarm system to normal operational status. III Specific Requirements: No bids shall be accepted unless the contractor attends the on-sight, pre-bid meeting. BIDS WILL BE EVALUATED ON COST, EXPERIENCE, WORK HISTORY AND QUALITY. A Pre-bid meeting will be held on May 21, 2013 at 9am. Attendance is mandattory or bid will not be considered. Please inform Purchasing Agent if you will be attending the meeting.
