- USPFO of Louisiana intends to award a sole source procurement to the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge, 4728 Constitution Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. The award will be made for the lease of meeting rooms, general rooms, an area for 33 vendors to set up tables, ball rooms, child/youth rooms, audio/visual equipment and catered meals required for the Yellow Ribbon event held on 10-11 May 2013. Requirement is for a non-casino hotel. Catered meals: Breakfast and Lunch at 625ea on 10-11 May and Dinner at 100ea on 10 May 2013. Audio/Visual equipment will also be provided for the meeting space which includes; projector, mixing board, 2ea 10x15 screens for each event. This procurement is being made pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) 1 and FAR Part 6.302-1, for other than full and open competition; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 721110 and the small business size standard is $30 million. The Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge is the only known source that can satisfy the government's requirements on 10-11 May 2013. All qualified sources must respond not later than 7 May 2013 5:00pm CST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
