- RFQ OFFEROR INFORMATION SOW This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Santa Cruz Tiburon Laboratory located in Santa Cruz, California has a requirement for a chartered vessel to conduct a collaborative research study of Central California Rockfish. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) will contract for a fixed number of single-day or multi-day cruises. Cruises will be distributed over approximately 2-3 months between August 2013- October 2013, and will depart from Central California Ports. The actual charter duration will be a total of 27 at-sea days. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and services necessary to perform these services. The entire solicitation is attached. This procurement is 100% set-aside to small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 483114 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price commencing approximately from date of award through Oct 31, 2013. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No.AB133F13RQ02316. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this RFQ and resultant award.
