- PR# 0046251433, Anticipated ISSUE DATE 05-16-13/CLOSING DATE 06-17-13 This solicitation to result in a firm fixed price, definite quantity contract for a total of 12,331 each for stock of NSN 1660-01-495-3043, Emergency Rescue Unit. This procurement is being solicited as an Unrestricted acquisition, with the intention of awarding a definite quantity contract. This solicitation is issued other than full and open competition i/a/w 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This item is configuration controlled and a critical application item. This is a Life Support Equipment item, surplus will not be accepted. Export Control applies. This item has a Type I Shelf Life of 126 months. This is NSN is a sole source item. This procurement is being made in accordance with Essex Industries Cage 0U058, P/N MR-10097AF. Essex Industries is the only approved source for this item. Solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted. PRLI0001, QTY 4,045 each ship to DLA Defense Depot Tracy, CA 95304. PRLI0002, QTY 8,086 each ship to Defense Depot Susquehanna, PA 17070. The following terms apply: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, delivery of production quantities is requested to be 232 days ARO or best attainable. A subcontracting plan will be required for any large businesses submitting proposals for this requirement. Due to the estimate dollar value, Certified Cost and Price Data is required and will be expected. There is no Technical Data Package for this NSN. Electronic offers are not acceptable. A paper copy of this solicitation will be available to requestors. The solicitation will be posted on DIBBS at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil.
