- The 55th Contracting Squadron at Offutt AFB, NE 68113 intends to solicit and award a base plus four option year sole source purchase order to Smith & Wesson Security Solutions (SWSS) for proprietary maintenance and upgrades for the Offutt STRATCOM Gate SWSS GRAB 300 and associated barrier operation controls under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy Government agency requirement) for the following services: Maintenance of the SWSS GRAB 300 and associated barrier operation controls. The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to service and maintain the SWSS GRAB 300 and associated barrier operation controls at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Classification Data: NAICS: 561621 Size Standard: $12.5 Million Period of Performance will be for 12 months from date of award with four option years consisting of 12 months each. This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party, other than SWSS, that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capability to satisfy the requirement no later than 3:00pm Local, 15 days after the posted date of this announcement.
