- AMENDMENT 03 - 1 MAY 2013: Solicitation will be issued approximately 8 May 2013 or later on-line only at the Federal Business Opportunities website. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AMENDMENT 02 - 19 APRIL 2013: Solicitation will be issued approximately 1 May 2013 or later on-line only at the Federal Business Opportunities website. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AMENDMENT 01 - 9 APRIL 2013: Solicitation will be issued approximately 18 April 2013 or later on-line only at the Federal Business Opportunities website. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is anticipating the release of a Request For Proposal (RFP), on Federal Business Opportunities, for the East Branch Dam Cutoff Wall construction project, located in Elk County on the East Branch Clarion River, 7.3 river miles upstream of Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. This procurement is being solicited unrestricted, and associated NAICS code is 237990. The period of performance will be will be for 1640 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000,000.00 and $250,000,000.00. The work to be performed consists of construction of a seepage cutoff wall at the East Branch Dam, consisting of a minimum 18 inch wide continuous vertical concrete cutoff wall and permanent foundation grouting at locations shown on the contract drawings. Contractors must be registered in the System Awards Management (SAM), formerly the Central Contractor's Registration (CCR) database, before receiving a contract award (go to https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). The solicitation number is W911WN-13-R-0002 and will be issued approximately 8 April 2013 or later on-line at the Federal Business Opportunities website; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the specifications and drawings will not be honored. Requests must be made by registering for this solicitation at http://fedbizopps.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download this solicitation on or after the issuance date.
