Description

Solicitation for Heat Echanger - See Scope STATEMENT OF WORK The Richard B. Russell Dam and Powerhouse is located at 4144 Russell Dam Drive, Elberton, GA 30635. Russell Power Plant currently has Alfa Laval Plate Heat Exchangers, Model M10-BDFG, installed on all four of the pump/generation units. These heat exchangers cool the thrust bearing lube oil during generation and pump operations therefore are very essential to the mission of this plant. An exact replacement Alfa Laval Plate Heat Exchanger is needed for reliable availability of the four pumps/ generation units at Russell. This procurement will allow replacement of any of the four existing Alfa Laval Plate Heat Exchanger that fail during operation due to the extended use with minimal generation/pump outages. This scope of work is for the supply of a new Alfa Laval Heat Exchanger.
