Description
The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistic Center (IBCT), Ice Breaker, Buoy and Construction Tender Product Line (IBCTPL) has a new requirement to provide grooming and maintenance services to all 175' WLM and 225' WLB buoy tenders, for their buoy handling and integrated electronics systems. The small business size standard for NAICS 541330, and is less than $14 Mil. The performance period is from October 23, 2013 to October 23, 2018. The scope of this acquisition is to provide grooming and maintenance services to all 175' WLM and 225' WLB buoy tenders, for their buoy handling and integrated electronics systems. This work will include, but is not limited to: Work Item 1: Perform ISST ISR GROOM (175) Work Item 2: Perform ISST ISR GROOM (225) Work Item 3: Perform ISST BHS GROOM (175) Work Item 4: Perform ISST BHS GROOM (225) Work Item 5: Perform Cutter Weight Test (175) AFC-30 Work Item 6: Perform Cutter Weight Test (225) AFC-30 Work Item 7: Avg. Groom Travel and Per Diem Expenses (Reimbursed as Per JFTR) Work Item 8: Avg. Weight Test Travel and Per Diem Expenses (Reimbursed as Per JFTR) Work Item 9: Technical Support Hours THE INTENT OF THIS NOTICE IS TO CONFIRM IF THERE ARE ANY COMPANIES CAPABLE OF FULLFILLING THIS REQUIREMENT. The Government requests capability statements and comments from interested businesses regarding the work items described above. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on company letterhead. At a minimum, please include the following: 1. Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers 2. Socio-Economic Factors (e.g. Small/Large Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), etc.) as it relates to NAICS Code 541330 Interested sources should contact Karen Marshall, Karen.M.Marshall@uscg.mil, communicating their interest. Your response is required by 4:00 pm EST on May 9, 2013. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate their capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona-fide capability to meet the requirements.
