- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, REGION 9, MTS-4-3, 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA. 94105 TITLE: Border 2020 Conference and Event Planning Services. This requirement is under NAICS 561920, Convention and Trade Show Organizers. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This notice is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. Your response to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set aside is possible. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated. Responses shall not include cost or pricing information. Your response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as a proposal. This notice is issued for the purpose of conducting market research only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement as a set aside based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties are expected to review this notice and the Draft Statement of Work to familiarize themselves with the requirements of this project. All subsequent awards (if any) will be contingent on availability of funds. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Please refer to the attached draft of the Scope of Work (see below). Please be advised this is only a draft, and may be subject to revision (addition and/or deletion of tasks subject to availability of funds) during the solicitation phase. Capability statements should demonstrate experience with, and the ability to perform conference and event planning services, to include logistical services. Organizations should demonstrate capability to administer and coordinate interrelated tasks in an effective and timely manner as well as organizing and managing resources and personnel effectively. Organizations should demonstrate competence in starting projects quickly, conducting multiple projects simultaneously, completion of tasks within a short timeframe and quality of products delivered. Capability statements should also show organizations possess the financial, accounting and reporting and IT systems to support the project. Familiarity with EPA protocols and processes are desired, but not required. Documentation may include Government and commercial contracts proving references (with names, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc) and/or any other information serving to document the organizations? capability. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Any interested organization may submit letters of interest and/or tailored capability statements for this requirement. We request that they not exceed five (5) single sided pages including all attachments, resumes, charts, etc. as applicable (single spaced, 12 point font minimum) that clearly details the firm?s ability to perform the aspects of the notice described in the draft Scope of Work. In your response, please indicate if you are a large or small business. If your firm is a small business, please clearly indicate any other small business status maintained (i.e. 8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, etc. Capability statements should also include an indication of current certified small business status (if applicable) and this indication should be clearly marked on the first page of the capability statement. Interested parties are also requested to include their DUNS number and CAGE code.
