B.3 PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) Lexmark Printer Maintenance 1.0 Background VA centrally purchased several dozen Lexmark printers of various models in early 2012. No mechanism was provided for the maintenance of these devices. 2.0 Scope & Objectives 2.1 Scope: In support of the Hampton VAMC mission, services are required to support the maintenance and repair of Lexmark-brand printers facility-wide and at outlying supported stations. A complete list of the devices to be supported is attached. 2.2 Objectives: The services procured will provide on-call service during normal working hours to repair and maintain Lexmark printers included in the purchase scope. 2.3 Target Audience This work will be monitored by the Information Resources Management service at Hampton VAMC in support of all facility staff. 3.0 Specific Tasks and Deliverables The Contractor shall provide advance replacement or on-site repair (as noted below) for Lexmark printers at the Hampton VA Medical Center and associated clinics in Virginia Beach, VA and Elizabeth City, NC. The Warranty will Cover all defective parts, fusers, photoconductors, etc. and printer functions. For the T and E models (Reference table with all model numbers), if a device breaks down, provide a cache of ready replacement devices for local IT staff to deploy.; local IT will then send the faulty device back in the box the replacement device shipped in. For the Color printers, an on-site technician will come on-site to repair or replace the device within one business day.
