Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST Sources Sought/Request for Information: National Security Technologies (NSTec) is seeking sources for a SUBCONTRACTOR to provide AUTHORIZATION BASIS/SAFETY BASIS (AB/SB) STAFF AUGMENTATION on an as needed basis. SUBCONTRACTOR shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in staffing safety basis and criticality safety personnel. SUBCONTRACTOR shall demonstrate that they have access to a highly qualified pool of professional technical support personnel with the necessary skills and qualifications to support safety basis and criticality safety work. Interested parties must provide: Documentation that validates a minimum of 5 years experience in providing in staffing safety /risk support and criticality safety basis personnel. Documentation that demonstrates access to a highly qualified pool of professional technical support personnel with the necessary skills to support safety and criticality safety basis work and system in place which tracks personnel's, credentials, training, special abilities, experience, and any formal qualifications in the safety /risk support and criticality safety basis field. The majority of the work will occur at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) at Mercury, NV but may include the forward areas at the NNSS. Responses are limited to 7 pages. Only sources demonstrating that they meet the above will receive a copy of the RFP. The determination to set aside for small business is contingent upon the number of qualified responses received from small businesses. The estimated value is $28M and is no way guaranteed or implied. Personnel provided for work on this SUBCONTRACT must be US citizens. The SUBCONTRACTOR shall have the ability to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) facility security clearance and have personnel capable of obtaining a Q type or L type security clearance. A corresponding level of security clearance from another federal agency may be applicable if approved by CONTRACTOR and the Department of Energy. The specific security clearance requirements will be identified at the time of order.
