- The US Army War College, Department of Distance Education has a requirement to provide 4 faculty instructors of second year studies. This work encompasses four on-line Core Courses and two summer Resident Courses with associated programs, and includes the evaluation of student performance in on-line discussion forums, on papers and writing projects, and during resident seminar discussion for nonresident students of the Distance Education Program. The period of performance is expected to be 1 August 2013 through 31 July 2014 with 2 option periods, to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. It is required that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with SAM (System for Award Management) at http:www.sam.gov. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 611310 and the Small Business size standard is $25.5M. It is anticipated that four offerors will be selected for a contract award. The evaluation method will be lowest-price technically acceptable. The full solicitation is anticipated to be posted on or around 15 May 2013. All questions related to this solicitation shall be submitted in writing to Roger Miller at roger.n.miller.civ@mail.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation for this synopsis will correspond to solicitations W91QF0-13-R-0004 for one (1) IF DDE 1st year Faculty Instructor and W91QF0-13-R-0005, five (5) 1st year DDE Faculty Instructors.
