THE SERVICES AS DESCRIBED ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED.***The Department of Homeland Security United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology (DHS US-VISIT) Program Office is NO LONGER SEEKING information on Identity Services Project Management and Technical Support Services (Draft Performance Work Statement is attached). The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective and comparative assessment in validating the solicitation method, the content of the solicitation, and contract type. This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Task Order Request for Proposal (TORFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Each vendor, by submitting a response to the RFI, agrees that any information provided may be used in a subsequent solicitation. Responses to this RFI will aid in determining the most appropriate procurement vehicle for this requirement. The Contracting Officer may ask for one-on-one meetings with some of the vendors for further market research purposes only. According to GovWin the current contract for Identity Services Project Mgmt & Technical Support Services was supposed to end at the beginning of September. a. How long has the current contract been extended? Government Response: The order ended September 08, 2012. For further information please see FedBizOpps.gov. Information can be queried using the Solicitation #HSHQVT-12-Q-00011 as the search method. b. What is the Sponsor's procurement timeline for RFP release/award? Government Response: The timeframe for RFP release is tentatively, December 2012. The timeframe for award is projected for March 2013. c. Will there be a draft RFP? Government Response: There is no plan for a draft RFP at this time. Inquiry 2. Are there any OCI restrictions associated with the US-VISIT overall program? a. If so, is mitigation or avoidance required? Government Response: There will be Oganizational Conflict of Interest clauses in the solicitation. It will be the prospective offeror's obligation to review and adhere to the guidance. Inquiry 3. Do you have any additional information regarding a follow-on procurement related to this RFI? Government Response: Please continue to check FedBizOpps.gov for updates as more information becomes available. We have no additional info to share at this time.
