- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811213. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below: Contractor to provide 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year) maintenance on the interface, T1, and Fiber termination equipment associated with the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) System. The contractor shall respond to all malfunctions by telephone within one (1) hour and provide on-site service within six (6) hours to repair or replace malfunctioning equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, material, tools, and test equipment required to accomplish this service. The following list the major components of the interface, T1, and Fiber termination equipment associated with the LMR System. (4) ADTRAN TSU600 with modules, (2) DTRAN Atlas 550 with modules, (6) FT2ER Fiber termination modules and chassis, and (2) Lantronics MS100. Contractor Responsibilities: a. The contractor shall coordinate with the Network Enterprise Center point of contact. b. The contractor shall provide after duty hours response. c. The contractor must restore the equipment promptly. d. The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, test equipment, tools, material, and other items necessary to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and all operational checks and adjustments. e. The contractor shall provide and/or install replacement equipment within four (4) hours. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of the requirement. Responses are due no later than 1000 EST, Monday, 06 May 2013, and shall be electronically submitted to shannon.l.mccauley3.civ@mail.mil. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
