Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price (FFP) order, under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-13-G-0018, on a non-competitive basis with SRC Tec, 5801 E Taft Rd, Ste 7, Syracuse NY 13212 for the procurement of SR Hawk Radar V2E upgrades to 43 Sr Hawks currently fielded in support of the PGSS/PGST for the Naval Air Systems Command 4.5x Special Surveillance Programs (SSP). The Government intends to procure the items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. Additionally, training and integration will be provided for the upgraded parts to be incorporated into the current systems. The upgrades include increased capablities in range detection, false tracking, scan rates, nuisance alarms, and alignment cameras. The technology being fielded as part of the PGSS is specifically tailored to protect US and Coalition forces by providing the ability to provide surveillance and locate and detect hostile forces that are approaching in the distance, giving US Forces ample time for situation awareness and an effective response. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses should reference solicitation number N68335-13-R-0233. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice. The Point of Contact is Andrew Sieracki, Phone: (732) 323-2418, E-mail:andrew.sieracki@navy.mil.
