Description

U.S. GOVERNMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease the following space: State:Iowa City:Sioux City Delineated Area:Within 2 miles of the city limits (including North and South Sioux City as well as Dakota Dunes and Sergeant Bluff) Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):9,800 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):9,999 Space Type:Clinical Parking Spaces (Total):65 Probable Full Term:10 years Probable Firm Term:5 years Probable Non-Firm Term:5 years with 90 day termination rights Expressions of Interest Due:5/17/13 Market Survey (Estimated):5/24/13 Solicitation Issued (Estimated):6/3/13 Offers Due(Estimated): 7/3/13 Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced including all utilities, janitorial services, snow removal, etc. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. Existing ground floor, clinic-ready space is preferred, and new construction/modification of existing space will be considered. Market survey of properties offered will be conducted by VA. Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than appraised fair rental value for space. This ad is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
