Description
MARKET RESEARCH FOR SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS DUE BY 2:00 PM ON May13, 2013 Solicitation Number: RME00088 Various Repairs and Alterations at the Land Port Of Entry in Fort Fairfield, ME. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. When and if a solicitation is issued, it will be issued under a different solicitation number at a later time. The General Services Administration (GSA) New England is seeking HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO), and all other Small Businesses capable of General Construction capabilites to r eplace approximately 5,000 square feet of slate roof, replace approximately twenty (20) double hung windows, install multi split ductless air conditioning in selected areas, replace four (4) manually operated garage doors, construct a bituminous paved parking area (1,500 SF), re-point approximately 1,000 sf of brick masonry, and provide miscellaneous plumbing and electrical repairs. Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow an informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as either an SDVO or HUBZone Small Business Set-aside. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code for this service is 236220. The Small Business Size standard is $35.5 MILLION. Please respond via email to the following questions by 2:00PM on May 13, 2013. Failure to answer any of these questions may result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. 1. Identify past experience which demonstrates that your firm is qualified to perform this type of work. 2. If this procurement is set aside, will your firm submit an offer? Submitted documentation will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining the potential capabilities of the respondent firms. This Sources Sought notice is for the purpose of determining the availability of Contractors and not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal for this requirement will be issued at a later date under a different solicitation number.
