- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) intends to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) on or before May 8, 2013, for the following Environmental Engineering and Occupational Health (EEOH) Services: a. Occupational Health: These services include emergency preparedness, and occupational health training. b. Medical: These services include occupational medical services, acute medical care, preventive medicine, program/project support services, miscellaneous medical services, clinical x-ray and laboratory services, management of medical records, automated external defibrillator, and ambulance services. c. Industrial Hygiene: These services include industrial hygiene support, building surveys, sanitation, hearing conservation, near-site support, asbestos program, hazard communication program, monitoring equipment, confined space entry program, indoor air quality program, ergonomics program, and consultation services. d. Health Physics: These services include ionizing radiation program, radioactive waste management, nonionizing radiation program, and radon management. e. Respiratory Protection: These services include administration of the MSFC Respiratory Protection program and maintenance and repair services for all Government-owned respiratory protection equipment. f. Environmental Compliance: These services include management, transportation and disposal of hazardous, universal and controlled waste, management of toxic substances, hazardous materials, and sustainability program, spill response training, air compliance support and EEOH staff support. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 621999 and $14M, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that an industry briefing for this procurement will be conducted May 14, 2013, 2:30 p.m. Central Time, at MSFC Building 4200, Room P110. After the industry briefing and the comment period, a Final RFP will be issued. The anticipated release date of the final Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about May 31, 2013, with an anticipated offer due date of on or about July 15, 2013. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
