Description
DIESEL ENGINE MAINTENANCE/OVERHAUL'DRAFT' PWS. This Sources Sought Notice (SSN)/Request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and is a market survey to identify potential sources capable of providing maintenance support services for the maintenance/overhaul of Caterpillar 3126 Marine Diesel Engines (DITA) as well as minor maintenance and preservation to the ZF Marine IRM 301 PL Marine Gear. Performance is required within a 30 mile radius of the installations is required. The planned acquisition is for an Indefiinite Deliery Indefinite Quantity Contract with one (1) base year and four (4) option years. This notification or Market Research is a request for information to identify potential sources with the capability to successfully complete this effort, availability as a commercial service and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. To be considered as a potential source for this requirement, a Contractor must submit company capability information pertaining to their ability to meet the requirements in accordance with the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This must include the capability to deliver in all anticipated locations in the PWS. Provide business plans or strategies that can accurately provide Diesel Engine Maintenance/Overhaul Support services as described in the draft PWS. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 336611, Ship Building and Repair. The Small Business Size Standard is 1000. The submission of plans/strategies will not obligate the Government. Interested parties shall provide the following additional information/documentation for Government consideration: •· Company name and address •· Business Size (large or small) •· Identification of any socio-economic program such as Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned, Hubzone, or 8(a) •· Company Commercial And Government Entity ( CAGE) code •· Verification that the NAICS code identified is appropriate, or provide suggestions with supporting rationale as to why it isn't appropriate. Provide any anticipated teaming arrangements. If you are planning on teaming with other companies, please list the process used in selecting the members. Provide information on whether your company has performed this type of effort or similar type effort (to include size and complexity) for both Government and non-Government as a commercial service. If so, provide examples, including Contract Number, indication whether your firm acted as a prime or subcontract, contract value, Government /Agency Point of Contact (POC), e-mail address, phone number, and a brief description of your direct support of the effort. This is not a request for proposal or an invitation for bid, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis/RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All government and contractor personal reviewing RFI responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information. Only unclassified information may be provided in your response.
