- STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL REQUIREMENTS MOD 300-3 GENERAL ARRANGEMENTS 631-2D COATING SYSTEMS FOR STEEL SURFACES J- PERFORM UTILITY WORK BOAT DAVIT MODIFICATIONS ABOARD THE NOAA SHIP FERDINAND HASSLER NOTICE DATE: MAY 3, 2013 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 336611 - SHIP BUILDING AND REPAIRING Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement to perform Utility Work Boat davit modifications aboard the NOAA Ship Ferdinand Hassler, Norfolk, VA. Provide all labor, material and equipment required to modify the Utility Work Boat davit, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, "NOAA Ship Ferdinand R. Hassler Utility Boat Davit Modifications Detail Specification". This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees. Solicitation number EA-133M-13-RQ-0349 will be issued May 3, 2013 and will close May 14, 2013. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is June 1, 2013 through June 23, 2013. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about May 17, 2013. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
