- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), intends to award a single-source purchase order to upgrade one (1) Gulfstream IV in accordance with Aircraft Service Change (ASC) 476A, dated May 11, 2012. The FAA intends to issue an award to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (DUNS 088935366) of Savannah, GA, for the required services. This procurement is considered to be single-source as the vendor is the only source authorized to perform this aircraft service change. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
