Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, located at 9500 Bay Pines Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL 33708, Bldg. 46, is seeking a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment for construction services to bathroom piping to provide installation, to include but not limited to, adding cleanouts, clearing sanitary plumbing lines for all areas affected and increase sanitary lines to four (4) inch. The work will require the demo and replacement of sanitary plumbing lines, walls, floors and ceilings and the addition of cleanouts. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a Request for Proposal to award a single firm fixed price contract. All work shall be in accordance with drawings, specifications, Federal, State and local codes, International plumbing codes and VA requirements. NAICS: 238220SIZE STANDARD: $14 millionTHIS PROCUREMENT IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE. All respondents must be registered in the SAM data base at (http://www.sam.gov) and also be verified at the VA's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) at (http://vetbiz.gov). Cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is to notify all offerors that the issue date for this RFP VA317-13-R-0015 will be May 10, 2013 and with a due date of June 10, 2013.
