- Amendment 02 RFQ J3ON7869 (Conformed Copy) Questions and Answers through Amendment 02 of the RFQ The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order in accordance with the attached Specification list, the attached contract clauses, and the additional requirements listed below. This requirement is for a Freight On Board (FOB) destination order for six (6), used 20' ISO Standard Dry Freight Sea/Land Containers, with doors on one-end, (or similar) in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This request for quote (RFQ) is set-aside for small business concerns only, in accordance with FAR 6.203 (Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources) and FAR 19.5 (Set-Asides for Small Business). Award will be made to the vendor that submitted the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote that meets all contractual requirements stated within this RFQ. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award all, partial, or none. A quote is due no later than 1200, noon EST, 07 May 2013 to David Baer, Contract Specialist, Defense Threat Reduction Agency/J4CBS. You may submit your offer via email to david.baer@dtra.mil. Please provide "No Bids" also to the Purchasing Agent via email. QUOTES SHALL INCLUDE: (1) Original letter signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization (include Federal Tax Identification Number), with a schedule of offered items to include unit price total price. (2) Acknowledgement and agreement with amendments, if applicable. (3) Evidence of technically acceptability and delivery schedule. Amendments, if any, will be posted on FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to view the website for any changes or amendments to this RFQ. Offerors must have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Website for SAM is www.sam.gov This letter is a Request for Quote only and in no way obligates the Government to award a purchase order or to reimburse the offeror for any cost incurred in preparing the response to this Request for Quote.
