Description

Sole Source Letter 31st Contracting Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract for REPAIR OF ROLLER DOOR maintenance service, in accordance with FAR part 13. The contract will be awarded to ASSA ABLOY ENTRANCE SYSTEM SPA. Market research was previously conducted and it has been determined that this is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is avaiable. All interested source must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services within three (3) days of this publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of Government. Line item are as follows: CLIN 0001-AA: REPAIR OF ROLLER DOOR, QTY 1. Authority: FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or U.S.C. 253(C)(1): Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirement. Any questions regarding this acquisition should be directed to the primary P.O.C.
