- Description
- DRAFT SOW RFI Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor that operates at infrared wavelengths including 1500-1600 nm. The sensor will be used to measure the wavefronts of free-space optical beams in our experimental setup, so that we can clean up the spatial modes of our beams to improve the coupling efficiency to our fiber-coupled detectors. The sensor must include a lenslet array, a camera and software that will operate the sensor and will reconstruct optical wavefronts from the raw camera images. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor kit including lenslet array, camera and reconstruction software that are all designed to work together. 1. Clear aperture at least 3.9 mm diameter 2. At least 127 subapertures (lenslet elements) 3. Maximum array pitch of 300 m 4. Ability to reconstruct at least 43 Zernike terms 5. Minimum wavelength range 1500-1600 nm
