- Sources Sought: Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) Simulator and Instruction for Veteran's Health Administration (VHA) Women's Health Mini-Residencies THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN). The SSN is a Request for Information ONLY. The VHA Simulation Learning, Education and Research Network (SimLEARN) Program will be hosting two (2) Women's Health Mini-Residencies in Orlando, FL, during the weeks of 15-19 July 2013 and 26-30 August 2013. Each Mini-Residency will provide up to 288 VHA Providers the opportunity to attend lectures on Women's Health, to practice examination procedures on Pelvic Task Trainers (PTTs) and Breast Task Trainers (BTTs), and to practice examination procedures using Gynecological Training Associates (GTAs). The WHMR lectures, PTT practice examinations, and BTT practice examinations will be at a hotel in the immediate Orlando International Airport (OIA) area. The practice examination procedures using GTAs will be conducted at a medical facility in the immediate OIA area. The anticipated requirement North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611699 - All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction. It is anticipated that the contract type will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Critical Requirements: 1.Deliver two (2) Standalone Clinical Breast Examination (CBE) Simulation Systems for WHMRs to be held 15-19 Jul 13 and 26-30 Aug 13. 2.Both CBE Systems must be able to be placed and operated on an 8 foot table, together. 3.Provider must supply CBE Simulation System on portable computers that operate independently of the other system. 4.Provider must supply Ear Phones, Manuals and Spare Breasts for each CBE Simulation System. 5.Provider must provide Operational Training on the CBE Simulation Systems in Orlando, Fl during the weeks of 15-19 Jul 13 and 26-30 Aug 13. Capability statements must be submitted as either hard copy or e-mail to the point of contact for this action not later than 11:00 a.m (EST) on 17 May 2013.
