- Repair (Sustain) Airfield Lighting System South Construction Project at McConnell AFB, Kansas THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION OR QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PROJECT WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The 22d Contracting Squadron (22 CONS) of the 22d Air Refueling Wing is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of small business sources for a potential contract to repair the Airfield South Duct Bank at McConnell AFB, Kansas. Information about this requirement is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information/sources sought notice. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to research qualified firms under NAICS code 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $14,000,000, for a potential acquisition. The work consists of the contractor providing all parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the following work: Provide new airfield duct banks, conduits, manholes/handholes and electrical wiring with home run airfield lighting cables to the airfield vault as set forth in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Government requests interested parties submit a detailed capabilities statement and a letter of interest. Interested/qualified sources should include the following: (1) Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size (i.e.; Small, SBA Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Women Owned, and/or Service Disabled Veteran Owned; (2) A list of recent/relevant construction experience similar to the work described in the paragraph above (include a description of the work, project value, type of contract, and place and period of performance). Please limit your submissions to not more than five pages.
