Description

Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for the NCIS for MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise that meets the requirement for NCIS Technical Services Division (TSD) from SOFTCHOICE CORPORATION; 314 W SUPERIOR ST, SUITE 301, CHICAGO, IL 60654-3538. The agency ™s requirement is to purchase the MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise for the NCIS Office located in Russell Knows Building, 27130 Telegraph Rd, Quantico, VA 22134. The rationale is that SOFTCHOICE CORPORATION provides the MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise for the customer ™s requirement for mandatory use of Enterprise Licensing Agreements held by the Department of Navy under the current BPA M67854-12-A-4701. No known vendors, other than the SOFTCHOICE CORPORATION can provide the MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise for this requirement for NCIS. The placement of a firm, fixed price contract is anticipated. The proposed acquisition is to purchase the MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise. The period of performance is 6/23/2013 thru 6/22/2014. Therefore, SOFTCHOICE CORPORATION is the only provider MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise for this requirement that can provide the required software maintenance for this requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. DESCRIPTION PART NO and QUANTITY Item No QuantityUnit Description CLIN 0001 2 EA MS Enterprise Agreement Exchg Server Enterprise L/SA Pack MVL All Languages Ecertification (MS GIA EA) MFG#39502412 Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
