- Description
- The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio has a requirement for Medical Transportation (Ambulette) Service. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, vehicles, vehicle maintenance, documentation, reports, medical personnel and supervision necessary to provide Ambulance service for beneficiaries of the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA medical Center and all CBOC locations. Contractor shall furnish vehicles sufficient to provide full and complete coverage for pick-up and delivery of all veteran patients requiring transport by ambulette to/from the Cleveland VA Medical Center, McCafferty and Parma CBOCs. The VA Contracting Officer reserves the right to issue multiple awards as a result of this solicitation. Multiple awards shall be made based upon geographic zone. The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and shall be 100% set-aside for SDVOSB business concerns in accordance with FAR 6.203. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 485991; size standard $7.0 million per annum. The Contractor shall adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations in effect during the term of this contract. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The Contract period is Date of Award through September 30th, 2018. The solicitation shall be posted to the FedBizOpps website on or about May 10th, 2013 as a request for proposal. Responses to the solicitation shall be due by close of business on or about June 7th, 2013 by 3pm. Offerors are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments.
