- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A sole-source, fixed-price procurement with AirClean Systems LAKEWOODARD D RALEIGH, NC, 27604-3659,to renew maintenance service agreement for the FBI owned Forensic Drying cabinets. The Forensic Drying cabinets are manufactured and owned exclusively by AirClean Systems and therefore, they are the only vendor that can provide support services. Failure to purchase the identified items would result in the following: 1) voiding the manufacturer's warranty of the Forensic Drying cabinets. 2) AirClean Systems is the only vendor with certified technician to provide maintenance on Forensic Drying cabinets. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests in this requirement to this office by 9:00 AM (Eastern) May 16, 2013, via e-mail to the attention of: Montarious Usher, at Montarious.Usher@ic.fbi.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System Number (NAICS) is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services. The awardees shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Database (CCR) and also the Online Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov Ensure your firm is registered in System for Award Management (SAM) - All vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012 to receive government contracts. In addition, the FBI will be using a new financial system on 10/01/2013 that has a direct interface with the SAM. If any current FBI vendor data conflicts with SAM Data, the information contained in SAM may override our current information on 10/01/2013. Please ensure that your company's SAM information updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization This solicitation incorporates several clauses by reference.
