Description: Total small business set-aside for Fire Alarm/Sprinkler System Maintenance and Repair Boston National Historical Park and Boston African American Historic Site, Boston, MA. Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number: P13PS00544. The National Park Service is issuing this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under commercial item procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued. The attached RFQ number P13PS00544 incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66, dated April 1, 2013. The North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, Security System Services (except Locksmiths), with a $12.5 MIL size standard. One Award, combining a Firm Fixed Priced line with additional Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity lines, will be made to a responsible small business based on a reasonable price. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued by the National Park Service for the maintenance, inspection, and repair service of 15 fire and sprinkler alarm systems within sites at both the Boston African American National Historic Site, Boston, MA and sites within the Boston National Historical Park, Boston, MA. The required service is for a Base period of one-year and a single Option period of one-year. FOB point is Destination. The contractor shall provide maintenance, inspection, and repair service at all locations. Base Period of Performance: 6/1/2013 through 5/31/2014. Option Year 1: 6/1/2014 through 5/31/2015. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer or complete all required Representations and Certifications on the System for Award Management (SAM) - www.SAM.gov. The Representations and Certifications will be checked by the Government to ensure that prospective contractor has self-certified as a small business under NAICS code 561621, Security System Services (except Locksmiths). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR provisions and clauses as well as additional Department of the Interior provisions and clauses applicable to the acquisition shall be found in the attached RFQ. Offerors are required to abide by the provisions and clauses. Quotes are due for this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation on 05/20/2013 at 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. An electronic quote shall be accepted and shall be emailed to david_barceleau@nps.gov. Submit questions via email to david_barceleau@nps.gov no later than 05/16/2013. With quote, submit the following: SF 18 with Blocks 13, 14 and 15 completed; Completed Request for Quote Schedule, for both the Base Year and Option Year 1, found in Section B, Supplies for Services/Prices of the Request for Quote; and A completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, found in Section K - Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders, of the Request for Quote. If offeror's Representations and Certifications are up-to-date in the System for Award Management (SAM) then the completed copy of 52.212-3 does not need to be submitted. Vendor shall be registered in SAM. This SAM registration shall include all required Representations and Certifications be entered by the prospective contractor and that the Representations and Certifications are up-to-date. The Government shall check these Representations and Certifications to ensure that prospective contractor has self-certified as a small business under NAICS code 561621, Security System Services (except Locksmiths).
