- REMANUFACTURE F108 FUEL GEAR MOTOR RFP#: FA8122-13-R-0025 PR#: FD2030-13-00844 Estimated issue date of solicitation of 22 May2013 Estimated response date 21 June 2013 For additional information contact Stephanie Riddle/AFSC/PZAAB/ (405) 734-4616 A firm fixed price Requirements Type Commercial Contract is contemplated with one basic year and 4 (four) one year options. Item 0001: NOUN: Remanufacture F108 Fuel Gear Motor; Input NSN: 3010-01-141-5947PN and/or 3010-01-229-1008PN and/or 3010-01-367-2917PN, P/N: 396800-6, 396800-7, and/or 396800-8. Output NSN 3010-01-367-2917PN, P/N 396800-8 BEQ as follows: 118 EA Basic Year; 135 EA OPT I; 115 EA OPT II; 111 EA OPT III; 114 EA OPT IV Applicable to the F108 Engine on the KC-135; Destination: Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145. Item 0002: NOUN - F108 Fuel Gear Motor Accident/Mishap Investigation. BEQs are 2 EA for basic and all option periods. Item 0003: Test Report for Mishap Investigation required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0004: AFMC Form 413 Depot Production Maintenance Report IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0005: Commercial Asset Visibility for Air Force (CAV AF) Reporting required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Description: The fuel gear motor powers the synchronized variable bleed valve system and controls the position of engine bleed valves. Delivery: Item 0001: 15 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; Item 0002: 1 EA per month 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; Item 0003: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0004: IAW DD Form 1423; Item 0005: IAW DD Form 1423. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. Approved sources are CFM International, Cincinnati, OH 45246-3730, and Eaton Corporation, Cleveland, OH 44117-1703. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award IAW FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
