- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W911W6-13-T-0003 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Under this number, the Army Contracting Command (ACC) / Aviation Applied Technology Directorate (AATD) intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 332999. The small business size standard is 750. AATD intends to purchase, on a competitive basis under the authority of FAR clause 13.106, fifty (50) lockers to be assembled and installed at a Government facility. Offerors shall comply with the following specifications for the lockers: industrial, heavy metal with securable door and handles, either concave or convex; 24 inches wide from outer edges; 22 inches deep from outer edges; 72 inches tall (ventilation holes/slots, etc. are acceptable); floor installed, but not secured to the walls or floor; and chained together in the groupings as shown on the shop layout. The shop layout drawings/exact measurements for these lockers shall be available upon request. Space is crucial, measurements precise. Internal lockers shall have 2 heavy metal hooks on the left, 2 on the right, 2 on the rear walls for equipment hanging, and 1 on the interior of the door. Hook tips shall be rounded, not sharp, and be 15 inches apart, hung vertically and centered on each panel/door. First hook shall be 12 inches below top of locker on left, right, rear, and door of locker. Open area above each locker shall be for Pelican case storage and does not require metal panels above to separate each open area on top of each locker. Precise measurements for all ordered parts shall be performed and recorded by the selected offeror. All lockers shall be colored bright blue. Should the exact color not be available, the closest shade to this hue of blue will be accepted pending approval by the Aviation Applied Technology Directorate. Factory-trained installers shall install and assemble the lockers per the manufacturer's specifications in Building 2042, Fort Eustis, VA 23604 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Installation, assembling and shipping charges shall be included in the price of the quote. Delivery and installation of these units is expected to be eight (8) weeks After Receipt of Order. Delivery, Inspection, Acceptance and F.O.B Point are Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items Alternate I, with their offer. Also, in accordance with FAR 52.213-3, all prospective offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Web site www.sam.gov prior to award.
