- NSN 1560-01-609-6752, 43N, Aircraft Skin, F-18 ACFT, PR# 47502678, P/N: 74A322710-2138; this is a Critical Application (CI) item and a Navy Critical Safety Application (CSI) item. It is not a commercial item. The acquisition is unrestricted other than full & open competition. This is a sole source item coded 3C. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The technical data is retained by the approved source, Northrop Grumman (CAGE 76823), and is not available to the Government. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, Northrop Grumman CAGE 76823, interested in submitting a proposal for this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) package for evaluation for future procurements to: Defense Logistics Agency- Aviation Office of the Competition Advocate ATTN: DSCR-DU 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway Richmond, VA 23297-5100 DELIVERY: 400 days after receipt of order. QUANTITY: 131 each. INSPECTION/ACCEPT : Origin. FOB Origin. The Government intends to place a firm-fixed price, no options delivery order against Northrop Grumman's current BOA. The letter solicitation will be issued on 20 May 2013 and will close on 20 June 2013. The solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website.
