- This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or obligation or commitment by the Government. Market research is conducted to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses for the following service: Provide labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, vehicles, and transportation to perform recurring refuse and recycling services for the Fort Polk Military Reservation, Fort Polk, LA. Estimated pick-up per annum for recurring refuse services is 4800 tons of municipal solid waste collection/disposal, 950 tons of field waste, and 14,000 tons of commodities. Pick-up ranges from 2 to 6 times per week. The contractor must also provide approximaely 700 solid waste containers (8 cf), 40 solid waste roll off type containers (40cf). The NAICS code is 562111 and the size standard is $35.5 million. The estimated start date is 01 JUN 2014. The Government is anticipating a term of base plus 4 option years.
