Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salisbury, NC hereinafter referred to as (VA) anticipates award of one or more FIRM FIXED PRICE contracts to homeless Veteran facilities based on the contents of the solicitation. Contractor shall provide Temporary/Emergency Residential housing services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs in the following cities/counties in the State of North Carolina: Northwest counties: Salisbury, Alexander, Alleghany, Anson, Asheville, Catawba, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Montgomery, Randolph, Rowan, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yadkin. This Requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 623220 Standard Size 7.0 Mil. Contract period will be a base period plus (2) two option year periods. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov. Initial Facility Inspection (Acceptable/Unacceptable) Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and VA Safety Officer shall conduct initial inspection on all Temporary Residential/ Emergency Residential Housing offerors within a 50 mile radius of the VAMC Salisbury. A site visit to your facility will be scheduled within one week of the proposal due date in accordance with the below Housing Inspection Checklist. Facilities within acceptable condition shall receive an acceptable rating. Facilities who receive an unacceptable rating due to unsuitable conditions will be removed from further consideration.
