- Description: NSN 1005-01-441-1619- CARRIER ASSEMBLY, KEY AND BOLT being bought in accordance with COLT DEFENSE LLC (13629) P/N 62286 or FN MANUFACTURING, LLC (3S679) P/N 8448505. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The required quantity is 10000 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or around the issue date of 05/24/13. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic, and JWOD. The required delivery is 200 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. THIS ITEM IS A "DEFENSE ARTICLE" AS DEFINED IN AND SUBJECT TO THE INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS (22 C.F.R 120-30) AND THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (22 U.S.C.A. 2778-2799). ANY MANUFACTURER OR EXPORTER OF DEFENSE ARTICLES IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER WITH THE DIRECTORATE OF DEFENSE TRADE CONTROLS (DDTC), DEPARTMENT OF STATE. DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE OF REGISTRATION MAY BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO AWARD. ADDITIONAL EXPORT RESTRICTIONS APPLY AS INDICATED HEREIN. FAILURE TO SUBMIT DDTC REGISTRATION WHEN REQUESTED WILL MAKE A QUOTE/OFFER INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
