- AMENDMENT 0003 EFFECTIVE MAY 8, 2013 THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO EXTEND RFQ DUE DATE TO MAY 10, 2013 AT 10:00 A.M. PST AND TO ADDRESS QUESTIONS SUBMITTED AND ATTACHED A REVISED DRAWING - "ENCLOSURE, PSU - SK744-2376." QUESTION 1: Need to confirm required PN for line item 22 vendor item to be purchased from Opus Solutions... Do you require the entire enclosure with Power Supply, or just the enclosure top and bottom or just the part shown in the drawing?? ANSWER 1: 'Correct' PN: SMC-DCA5-UT-A We require just what is obviously shown in the drawing. Nothing more. Nothing less. QUESTION 2: On the issue of the power supply. Can you forward this idea to the PM. The PS vendor in Irvine can supply the shell only and if your team buys the PS. It is only 4 screws to put the module in the shell. Perhaps the Sol can amend to shell only. ANSWER 2: WE ONLY NEED THE METAL PART SHOWN IN THE DRAWING! QUESTION 3: I wanted to ask for some very specific clarifications as it relates to the OPUS DCA9.180-V. a. Do you want the vertical or horizontal variant. b. How are you suggesting the ESD provisions are implemented. c. SPAWAR seems to be using a special variant which is non standard and the modifications have additional costs. d. Please specify the shell part number. e. Please specify the complete part number.
