- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide construction of SOF Training Facility at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. The work includes Construction of an organizational classroom facility containing 482 SM (5,190 SF) for up to 85 persons. Provide classroom, administrative office, restrooms, break area, storage room, AV room, communications room, electrical room, and mechanical room. Provide a Sensitive Compartmented Information facility (SCIF) in the classroom area. Provide information systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS); fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems; intrusion detection system (IDS) and CCTV installation; and energy monitoring control systems (EMCS) connection. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) and Engineering Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 05) features will be provided. Supporting facilities include site demolition, utilities (electrical, water, sanitary sewer), security lighting, emergency generator with an above ground fuel tank, information systems, storm drainage, sidewalks, partial demolition of existing covered storage building, and site improvements. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DOD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings Standards will be provided. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by a self contained system. Air conditioning: 70.5 kW (20 tons). The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Network analysis will be required. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about April 16, 2013. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $33,500,000.00. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible to receive an award from any Government solicitation.
