- 2013 APBI Briefing Charts The annual U.S. Air Force Training Systems Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI), hosted by the National Training and Simulation Association, has been cancelled for 2013. The APBI serves to advise the training & simulation industry on upcoming acqusition/sustainment contracting actions planned by the Simulators Division, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. It also serves to communicate information regarding changes in acquisition policy and procedures which affect the community, and solicit feedback from industry on areas of concern. In lieu of holding an APBI meeting, the Simulators Division has prepared the attached charts, highlighting the contracting actions planned within approximately the next three years. We hope to return to the normal APBI forum in 2014. A contact number for the Program Manager and Contracting Officer affiliated with each planned contract is provided in the corresponding briefing. These individuals may be contacted directly with any questions.
