- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole-source basis for the refurbishments of four Collective Protection Systems (CPS) Fans “ Three A104 Fans - Serial Numbers: 051450-03, 065845-01 and 082870-01 and one (1) A105 Fan “ Serial Number: 082869-03 from American Fan Company, 2933 Symmes RD, Fairfield, OH 45014-2001. See the attached Statement of Work for (SOW) for specifications. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333412 with a standard size of 500 employees. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 20 May 2013, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 24 May 2013. All responsible parties may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to dora.fauntleroy@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-13-Q-4478 in the subject line.
