Description
The Government provides secure enterprise-wide Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT) support services for USACE to more than 37,000 US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) customers located throughout the Continental United States(CONUS) and Overseas Continental United States (OCONUS). Services identified as part of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) will support the mission needs of USACE headquarters located in Washington, DC; nine (9) Divisions, 44 Districts to include field and area project offices, eight (8) Other Organizations, and two data centers located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Portland, Oregon. The PWS addresses mission requirements which encompass functions, services, and tasks associated with: Enterprise Services (includes IM/IT Administration and Management) Enterprise Transport Services (includes IM/IT Administration and Management) The Government's objective through this acquisition is to acquire innovative, customer-focused, cost-effective enterprise IM/IT support services by applying industry best business practices in addressing USACE mission requirements. While most day-to-day work involves continuation of existing services and is centrally funded, certain projects require service, installation, and support of IM/IT resources directed at emerging engineering and construction requirements. Other projects require rapid response and flexible service, installation, and support of IM/IT resources directed at Emergency Operations response efforts, which are generally funded through reimbursable mechanisms. Deployment to sites of emergencies may be required and may be under harsh conditions depending upon the type of emergency and its locations within the USACE IM/IT Service area. An AIES Bidders Library has been created in support of this requirement. The purpose of the Bidders' Library is to provide reference documents in full context and an additional understanding of organizational operations. Only the formal documents included in the solicitation (PWS, Attachments, etc), which have been posted to FBO, are required to be used in the preparation of proposals. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Bidders' Library for updates. To gain access to the Bidders Library, an Access Request Form must be completed and sent to acquisitiondatasource@usace.army.mil. Please see the attachment entitled quote mark Access Request Form quote mark for further details. Additionally, all technical inquiries and questions relating to this RFP are to be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at https://www.projnet.org/projnet/binKornHome/index.cfm. Please see the RFP, Section A, for further details.
