Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Sub-Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis / solicitation is NOT set-aside for small business. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price Purchase Order to the lowest priced offeror whose technical proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation; its price is determined to be fair and reasonable by the Contracting Officer; and the Contracting Officer determines the offeror is responsible. The Contracting Officer intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to do so in his or her sole discretion. This is an Open Market requirement. If an offeror submits a quotation based upon an FSS or GWAC contract, the Government will accept the quoted price. However, the terms and conditions stated herein take precedence in any resultant Purchase Order, not the terms and conditions of the offeror's FSS or GWAC Contract. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510, with a small business size standard of 500. Any and all questions should be addressed, electronically to the POC identified in the solicitation BEFORE the solicitation closes. Telephonic inquiries or questions are not acceptable. The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, North is seeking to purchase one Interacoustics AD629e Hybrid Audiometer as configured in the combined synopsis / solicitation. Delivery of these items is to the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) at McGuire AFB, NJ. All interested companies are asked to provide a quotation/offer.
