- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY-Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. Capability statements from 8(a) small businesses will only be accepted. This is a non-personal services requirement to provide an administrative support and programs coordinator for the Family Life Center at Fort Lee, Virginia. The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the Family Life Center which is co-located within Memorial Chapel at Fort Lee, Virginia. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide administrative support and coordination of programs and activities within the Family Life Center. Services include the drafting and typing of memorandums and other documents, managing client appointments, taking and screening calls, greeting clients and the general public who enter the Family Life Center, collecting data for reporting purposes, visually monitoring counseling sessions, managing and submitting facility maintenance repair requests, creating and submitting purchase requests for supplies and equipment as needed, and managing facility usage schedules and requests. The Contractor shall provide coordination and support adequate for the Family Life Center. The Family Life Center (FLC) consists of a large conference room, three office spaces, three dedicated counseling rooms, and a multi-purpose waiting room. It serves as a centralized source for marriage and family counseling and therapy, relationship enhancement training, family and marriage crisis intervention, and resource for Fort Lee Unit Ministry Teams. The contractor is responsible for conducting business, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. The period of performance shall be October 1, 2013 thru 20 September 2014. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential 8(a) small businesses sources for this requirement. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS VOLUNTARY AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR INFORMATION REQUESTED NOR WILL IT COMPENSATE ANY RESPONDENT FOR ANY COST INCURRED IN DEVELOPING INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE GOVERNMENT. The response date for this is May 21, 2013 at 3:30pm EST. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written request for information will be accepted.
