- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) National Highway Institute (NHI) anticipates issuing a full and open procurement to provide services for the delivery and development of training in the areas of construction and maintenance, pavement technology, and transportation asset management. The purpose of this procurement is to effectively deliver a timely program of high quality training products dealing with all aspects of highway construction and maintenance, pavement technology, and transportation asset management. The solicitation will be available electronically via the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at www.fbo.gov. No written, telephonic, facsimile, e-mail or other type of request for the solicitation will be accepted. Potential offerors/vendors are encouraged to register on www.fbo.gov and to monitor the website to receive the solicitation and any further information in reference to the subject action inclusive of any announcements, and amendments after its release. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A request for proposals is anticipated to be published, through the Federal Business Opportunities website in May/June 2013. Once the solicitation is posted, all interested responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the FHWA. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611430.
